Westbourne House

Westbourne House situated on the fringes of Otley was once the home of William Ackroyd, an industrialist who owned Otley Mills and one of the main employers in the early 1800’s. To mark his achievements and status in the town,  he had Westbourne House Built around 1840.

It has, since 1965,  been the home of Otley Freemasonry and now owned by the Westbourne House Masonic Hall Company. The house retains much of its  exquisite architecture and  its period atmosphere.
